FAQs

Where are your canvases made?

All our backdrops are carefully painted in our workshop in Montreal.

Are your canvases mounted on support upon delivery?

All our canvases are delivered in a tube corresponding to their respective size, without being mounted on a support, to give you the freedom to choose your preferred mounting method. For example, the delivery tube can serve as a convenient mounting bracket. The canvases can also be attached to the wall or stretched over a side support bar for backdrops. However, we recommend that you ensure that the mounting surface is smooth to avoid any distortion of the canvas.

The texture of my canvas seems a little different from what is displayed on your site?

Some subtle details in the canvas may not be immediately noticeable to the naked eye. Additionally, shades may vary depending on the lighting used to photograph your subject.

Exchanges and refunds

There is only one copy of each canvas. To guarantee the exclusivity of our textures, any purchase of canvas is considered a final sale. No exchange or refund will be possible.

What are the shipping fees ?

We offer free delivery across Canada. For any questions regarding international delivery, please contact our team.

My canvas appears to have ripples and/or creases?

Canvas is a material with a good memory capacity! It is possible that slight ripples will form when handling your canvas. Simply unroll it and mount it. The ripples and creases should disappear quickly. We do not recommend ironing, but if you decide to do so, we recommend using a low temperature or using a steamer. Proper storage of your canvas is crucial to preserving its overall appearance.

How long will my canvas last?

By taking good care of your canvas during use and storage, it can accompany you throughout your life. It is an ecological and economical option compared to paper backdrops.

Can the dimensions of my canvas vary?

Yes, your canvas dimensions may vary, typically 1/8 to 1/4 inch (approximately 0.3 to 0.6 cm). This is due to the fact that they are manufactured in an artisanal and non-industrial manner, which may result in slight variations in the final dimensions of the product.

What does the term "lightweight" mean in the product sheet of certain canvases?

Canvases considered lightweight are made from thinner materials than our standard canvases.
